Big news in Novello… two new Langhe restaurants are opening this year! They should already be open, but Coronavirus had something to say about that. Anyway, they are both opening in early June and I for one can’t wait to check them out!

Rosso Satollo is just 300 metres from Villa RIbota, at the Rosso di Sera B&B. They have spent the winter restructuring, building a new kitchen and dining area and have partnered with a really great chef. You can find out more on their facebook page, and as soon as we get the chance to go I will write a full review. Did I mention it’s only 300 metres from the house?

The second is called ANT and it is in the village of Novello. Two young(ish) guys, a chef from Colorado who has lived and worked in the Langhe for many years (he previously worked at Osteria More e Macine in La Morra) and a front of house guy who has worked at a number of top restaurants have renovated a beautiful old cascina and created a very special space. They will serve twists on local classics, with a focus on fresh, natural, high quality local ingredients and foraging. Again, I’ll post a full review as soon as possible, and you can find out more on their website.
